Learn freestyle disco moves, no partner needed, and conclude the class with 45 minutes of silent disco dancing to try out your new moves. It's a fun and easy way to get your groove on!

- Dance Technique with Bands and Balls
Danielle McNeal Strabala (B.A. Dance)combines her knowledge of Pilates and ideokinesiology to show students and teachers how to use bands and balls as tools to improve dance technique and form. This level one workshop will cover exercises that help students initiate the correct muscles to properly turn-out, point feet, strengthen supporting leg, correct misalignments in feet/knees/hips, improve core strength, improve leg extension, improve balance, and heighten awareness of scapular engagement for graceful arms. Danielle will give cueing tips and imageries to help teachers give clear guidance to their students. This workshop will benefit teachers wanting to improve their students’ dance technique, address students’ weaknesses, and offer solutions to prevent or address injuries. These exercises can be used in a class setting or private sessions.

- Afro Caribbean Class
This class builds strength and power by infusing African Caribbean rhythmic style dance movements with other dance forms. Enjoy percussion music while starting with a rhythmic warm-up, move to strength exercises at the barre, practice new steps in a procession across the floor and finish with a short invigorating dance combination . Wear comfortable clothing, barefoot.
- Choreography Session/Contact to schedule
No matter what level of dance experience you have, Danielle can create dances for any occasion to make it memorable. With every choreography session you will have a free consultation to discuss your needs and music editing if needed. A video recording of choreography at the conclusion of each session will be provided to allow time to practice at home. This is not your typical ballroom style dance. Danielle will work with the movements that best suite you and create something tailored specifically for you.
- Jazz Dance Class
All Levels Welcome! Join us at Sedona Dances Headquarters. In many ways, jazz dance is similar to that of jazz music. Jazz dance often mirrors the sounds, rhythms, and techniques of this music. In this class we will visit classic jazz and Latin jazz styles. This class is for all levels. Class begins with a warm-up using head, shoulders, arm, and hip isolations and progresses to fun rhythm steps and basic turns. Finalizing with a combination set to fun music and playful characterization. Wear comfortable clothing and Jazz shoes or thick socks.
- Modern Dance Class
Beginner/intermediate Adult Modern Dance Dancers will focus on contractions, spirals, basic floor work, and elemental concepts of space, time, and force. They will also build core strength and flexibility in a fun and encouraging environment.
